SIGN0021 — Agenticality Signals

A door-to-door salesman stops selling the second he falls asleep. A shop on the busiest corner sells all night.

Most founders we meet are the salesman. They pour the whole month into outbound — the ads, the cold lists, the chase — and the day the budget stops, the attention stops with it. They rented it. Every dollar bought a dollar back, once, and left nothing standing.

A two-person team with a product they believe in and no war chest will never out-spend the incumbent. So don't. Out-compound them.

The work we publish in the open, the tools that demonstrate themselves, the writing still being read at 3am — none of it clocks off. It's an asset, not an expense. Rented attention evaporates the day you stop paying; owned attention keeps pulling while you sleep. That's the whole difference between noise and gravity.

And gravity is shared. Built once on the foundation, it doesn't pull for one product — it pulls for all of them at the same time. One corner, many shops.

We'd rather build the corner than keep renting the crowd. Tomorrow, what we're putting on it.
